About Us

Our specialist services cover all aspects of tree care, fencing and landscaping services, along with a large range of landscaping products from our green waste recycling facilities, green waste curb side collection, logs and mobile composting across the South of England and London.

At KPS we pride ourselves on being an established family run business since Paul Smyth (Managing Director) started from the simple beginnings of grass cutting over 40 years ago.  KPS is now one of the largest tree care and grounds maintenance businesses in the South East. Paul’s 2 sons Danny and Jody (Directors), now work day to day in the office, each bringing individual strengths to the table.

KPS Contracting Services

Our Specialist teams of Arborists cover all aspects of tree care.  This includes tree pruning, felling, crown reductions, stump removal and hedge cutting. We also have a team of highly skilled fencers.  They install all types of fencing and gates, creating a feature out of any boundary.

Our grounds maintenance teams tackle anything that grows in the garden! From a one off visit or regular scheduled visits, including grass cutting, tending to flower beds, clearance, planting and general landscaping.

KPS Composting Services

Our sister company, KPS Composting Services, was established in 2012, initially to help deal with our own green and woody waste generated by the tree care business.

The company has now grown to become one of the largest specialist composting companies in the UK.

We accept material for recycling at our Isfield site in East Sussex, along with providing a nationwide mobile composting service.

These materials are transformed into the KPS range of Recycled Landscaping Products, including Fine Compost, Blended Top Soil, Woodland Mulch, Premium Pine Bark and Firewood Logs.
